In the Smart Cities Lab, young people design prototypes for a more sustainable Brussels. After a walk through the city, young people look for challenges in the areas of transport, energy, ecology, social differences, and infrastructure. They then come up with a solution in the form of a prototype that uses Internet of Things (IoT), Big Data or Artificial Intelligence (A.I.). Examples of projects that have already been realized are: a monorail meeting space that connects North and South, an application for skateboard communities or intelligent bus stops that encourage people to interact. The results of the creations are also exhibited in the BOZAR lab.
