VUB SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP FAIR 2019“Let’s support social entrepreneurship together”
 

After the successful launch of the first Social Entrepreneurship Fair (SEF), we are organizing our biggest event of the year, yet again ! The VUB Social Entrepreneurship Fair 2019, will take place on Nov. 26th from 18:00 to 22:00 in Aula QA, at the VUB Brussels Humanities, Sciences & Engineering Campus Campus (Pleinlaan 2) in the city of Brussels.

The event is divided in two parts. First, renewed speakers and practitioners in the field of social entrepreneurship will inspire the audience through a series of testimonials. During the second part of this event, participants can attend the Fair with more than 40 stands presenting different projects in the field and participate on the networking and drinks. The event is free of charge and we are expecting approximately 500 participants.

During the event, we will be launching the "Circular Economy Challenge" , an initiative of the VUB Chair of Social Entrepreneurship, and its founding partners: BNP Paribas Fortis, Close the Gap and Euroclear. Trough this challenge, we would like to stimulate the creativity of students, entrepreneurs and employees to develop innovative solutions for circular economy.

As you are aware, many social entrepreneurs need our help: please visit today the VUB Social Entrepreneurship Platform, where you can see and support different projects with a social impact or launch your own initiative! This crowd-sourcing and crowdfunding platform is free and opens the possibilities to Social Entrepreneurs to gain more visibility, raise awareness toward their causes and receive financial and all other type of support needed for their ventures.

The platform has established itself as a space to strengthen the collaboration among social entrepreneurs and other relevant stakeholders as it gets fully recognition at local, regional, national and international levels. Hoping to welcome you there !
